The FX3A blends Sony’s Cinema Line heritage with Alpha-series agility, offering a full-frame 12.1MP Exmor R CMOS sensor in a lightweight, cage-free body. Designed for solo creators and agile productions, it’s a dream for handheld and gimbal work.
Capture UHD 4K at up to 120fps with 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording or 16-bit RAW output. The BIONZ XR processor ensures rich detail, low noise, and over 15 stops of dynamic range—ideal for cinematic storytelling in any light.
Inspired by Sony’s VENICE color science, S-Cinetone delivers a filmic look straight out of the camera. Support for S-Log3, HLG, and LUTs gives creators full control over their post-production workflows.
Includes an XLR handle unit for 4-channel audio input, plus dual card slots supporting CFexpress Type A and SD cards. Full-size HDMI, USB-C, and headphone/mic jacks round out its pro-ready interface.
Live-sight Eye AF and subject shadowing keep your focus crisp, even in swift, bustling moments. Tap-to-track and tunable focus ways bring exactness with barely a strain.
Magnesium alloy construction and active cooling allow extended recording without overheating. The FX3A is built to endure long shoots and tough environments.
Whether you're filming documentaries, music videos, or indie features, the FX3A offers cinematic depth, intuitive controls, and unmatched mobility—making it a versatile tool for visual storytellers.
