Designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras, this lens offers a 200–600mm equivalent focal range—ideal for wildlife, sports, and distant subjects. Its compact build makes it a travel-friendly powerhouse for long-range photography.
Featuring Panasonic’s POWER O.I.S., the lens compensates for handshake and motion blur, especially at full zoom. When paired with compatible Lumix bodies, Dual I.S. enhances stability for handheld shooting.
Built to withstand the elements, the lens is splashproof and dustproof—perfect for outdoor adventures. Its durable construction ensures reliable performance in unpredictable conditions.
A linear motor delivers fast and accurate autofocus, while internal focusing keeps the lens length constant. The zoom ring offers smooth control, though some users note stiffness during extended use.
Comprising 17 elements in 12 groups, including one ED element, the lens minimizes chromatic aberrations and delivers sharp results across the zoom range. The filter thread supports creative accessories.
Sharpness is impressive, with slight softness at the long end. Focus breathing may affect video work, but still shooters will appreciate the reach and clarity. Minimum focus distance is magnification.
The Lumix 100-300mm II is a value-packed super-telephoto lens for Micro Four Thirds users. While not flawless, it delivers reach, stabilization, and weather resistance at a fraction of the cost of premium alternatives.
